STREAM Project’s 5th General Meeting in Terni
What: 5th STREAM project meeting
Where: Terni, Italy
When: 8th – 9th of October
The STREAM Project’s 5th General Meeting took place in Terni, Italy, on October 8th and 9th, hosted by ASM Terni S.p.A. This gathering brought together all project partners to review progress, discuss challenges, and focus on upcoming deliverables. Central to the discussions were the sGRID and sPLAN tools for grid planning and management, as well as the sMART tool for local energy market development, all set for delivery in early 2025.
One of the key topics was the integration of the sDATA platform, which enables secure data exchange between stakeholders like DSOs and TSOs. The platform is already being tested at pilot sites across Europe, including Slovenia.
The meeting included detailed presentations from pilot sites in Slovenia, Spain, Italy, and Finland. In workshops, site representatives shared their progress, challenges, and the practical experiences gained from implementing STREAM tools in real-world scenarios. These interactive sessions fostered deeper collaboration, helping partners refine their approaches to deploying and testing the tools.
On the second day, participants visited ASM Terni’s headquarters to see firsthand the implementation of the sMART and sDATA tools at the Italian pilot site.
The meeting concluded with a discussion on future milestones, including the next General Meeting in Tampere, Finland, scheduled for March 2025. Participants also had the opportunity to visit the nearby Marmore Falls, one of the tallest man-made waterfalls in the world.
LEST members Tomi Medved, Jan Jeriha, Tamara Smolej, and Janez Gregor Golja as coordinators played an active role in the meeting, contributing to the strategic discussions and collaborative workshops throughout the event.
