Establishment of the Laboratory
The Laboratory of Energy Policy (LEST) operates since 2000 within the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana, under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Andrej Gubina, PhD.
SEPTEMBER 2008
7th Balkan Power Conference BPC
For the seventh time, LEST organized the Balkan Conference of Electric Power Industry (BPC), this time in Šibenik, Croatia. More than 150 participants from industry and science gathered.

In connection with the European project APRAISE, LEST organized a summer school for all last year postgraduate and undergraduate students.

Start of BET and STORY project

INCREASE Summer School
The second summer school of the INCREASE project took place in Ljubljana. The main goal was to teach students about the management of distributed renewable energy sources on a low-voltage distribution network.

IEEE PES ISGT Europe
IEEE PES ISGT (Innovative Smart Grid Technologies) is one of the most recognized and largest conferences in this field, attracting participants from all over the world. Papers from the conference are also published by IEEE Xplore.

16th EEM conference
More than 300 participants joined us at the leading conference on the European Energy Market to discuss the latest challenges and solutions for energy market modelling and design, regulatory policies, climate changes and other aspects of the energy sector.
