ENLIT EUROPE 2021 CONFERENCE
What: LEST team participated at the Enlit Europe Conference

The Enlit Europe Conference (formerly European Utility Week and POWERGEN Europe) was held between 30 November and 2 December in Milan, Italy. Besides the live event, a digital platform Enlit 365 has been established. It serves as a community that for 365-days a year collaborates and innovates to solve the most pressing issues in energy. Enlit Europe 2021 saw the attendance of more than 10.000 attendees, 500 exhibitors and 350 speakers.
Four LEST team members attended the event: Mr. Tomi Medved, PhD, Mr. Edin Lakić, Mr. Jan Jeriha and Ms. Chloé Fournely. They were mostly engaged in the program of the EU Project Zone where they had a stand of the COMPILE project. Besides networking and discussions with curious visitors at the stand, they also participated in three hub sessions of the EU Project Zone. As an X-FLEX project representative, Ms. Chloe Fournely joined the sessions “The role of the business models in provision of flexibility” and “Interoperability and data exchange to support the digitalisation of smart energy systems”. Mr. Tomi Medved was part of the session “Citizens at the center: Creating a consumer-centric digitalization strategy”. After a 10 min presentation of the projects, there was a panel discussion on the active role of the citizens, collective action and the role of energy communities.
