RMAN: Integrated risk management in asset management of transmission system

The main objective of the project was to increase the effectiveness of asset management in ELES. We proposed the method of the State of the Asset Health Index (AHI) as one of the key strategies, which is increasingly being used by the world for elements of the electricity system.

AHI is used in assessing the residual lifetime of the elements and defining the priorities for their maintenance. It is calculated on the basis of the results of the measurements and investigations that are properly evaluated as input data in accordance with the corresponding codes. With the introduction of the AHI method, we expected a positive effect in the implementation of the current strategy for maintaining high voltage devices in RTP (distribution transformer stations) as part of the asset management strategy.
