The Laboratory of Energy Policy in cooperation with Petrol d.d. organized the second presentation of master thesis topics for the year 2019. Report from last year can be found here.
Mr. Aleš Koželjnik (Director of Energy Sources and Energy Management department, Petrol) and Assoc. prof. dr. Andrej Gubina addressed the audience and briefly presented Petrol and LEST, respectively. The audience comprised of representatives of Petrol, LEST and students of electrical engineering and also other faculties.
Afterwards, the awards for the best master’s theses were given to Mr. Kujtim Dauti and Mr. Gregor Gostinčar. Congratulations!
Tomi Medved and dr. Gašper Artač presented the COMPILE project, focusing on the Petrol’s involvement in the project with demo sites leading and their involvement in the demonstration site Luče.
Dr. Gašper Artač presented 9 interesting topics for master’s theses which are directly related to challenges the company faces on a daily basis of its operations. Interested students will get full support in the form of a company’s mentorship, data, possible student work, etc. The best theses will be rewarded accordingly.
