The 13the edition of the Energy & Environment in Slovenia was held in Brdo pri Kranju on the 6th of April, 2023. The event brought us up to date with the latest developments in accelerating the green transformation and the deployment of renewables in the changed circumstances of one of the biggest energy (and supply) crises in the EU.
From energy and business leaders to managers, and environmental experts, we all came together to discuss opportunities for growth and improvments. Delivering results in this area will require the synchronous action of multiple stakeholders, government, providers and, consumer understanding. Investments in the energy sector need to be well thought out, and the biggest challenge in Slovenia so far remains the siting of power plants (in all their forms) and bureaucracy.
