Spending time in Ljubljana, Slovenia, for my internship at the LEST lab at the University of Ljubljana was an amazing experience.

I worked on graphic design projects, planned webpages, formatted newsletters and helped with presentations. It was a great opportunity to build my skills in a professional setting while also getting to know a new place. But what really made it special was the city itself-Ljubljana is small but full of charm, it didn’t take long for me to fall in love with the laid-back vibe and beautiful surroundings.

Outside of work, I spent as much time as I could exploring. Whether it was strolling through Tivoli Park, hiking up to the castle for an amazing view, or just grabbing gelato by the river, every day felt like a little adventure. I also met so many amazing people-from locals who were always welcoming to other internationals who quickly became close friends. My time in Ljubljana was incredibly rewarding, I got to work with amazing and supportive people at LEST, gain professional and personal experiences and explore about the beautiful city. My entire experience was amazing, and I would love to revisit someday soon.
