Edin Lakić, M.EE.

Edin Lakić, M.EE, got his Master’s degree at Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana in 2012 and is currently a PhD student. He is employed as a researcher at the Laboratory of Energy Policy (LEST) at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana.

Previously he worked at power exchange BSP SouthPool as a Trading supervisor, Key Account & Sales Manager and market specialist on several projects. As a researcher at LEST he is working on topics of smart grids, RES integration, operation of power systems and electricity markets, which are the main topics of his PhD research. He is currently active in projects with EU Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) and in on-going EU projects (COMPILESTORY, CONSEED, CROSSBOW).
