Edin Lakić, PhD

Senior researcher

Edin Lakić got his PhD degree at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana. Currently he is employed as a senior researcher at the Laboratory of Energy Policy (LEST) at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana.

Previously he worked at the power exchange BSP SouthPool as a Trading supervisor, Key Account & Sales Manager, and market specialist on several projects. As a researcher at LEST, he is working on topics of smart grids, RES integration, operation of power systems, energy markets, storage technologies and energy efficiency.

He is active in projects with the EU Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) and EU projects funded by European Commission.
