ePowerMove

ePowerMove introduces a global energy usage optimizer featuring low-power, low-cost, and bi-directional EV chargers that are designed to be user-friendly and visually unobtrusive while intelligently synergizing with the power grid. Supported by a set of dynamic, smart control, and prediction components, this innovation aims to alleviate grid congestion and improve power supply management and planning. By leveraging user and environmental data – including charging habits, transport patterns, road topography, and weather conditions – it enhances user satisfaction while optimizing charging demands.

Additionally, the optimizer enables advancements in vehicle-to-everything (V2X) technologies, particularly vehicle-to-grid (V2G), promotes the widespread adoption of renewable energy-powered electric vehicles (EVs), and fosters innovation in social and socio-cultural databases across various levels of governance. The overall goal of ePowerMove is to reduce costs and increase the energy efficiency of future charging infrastructure while enhancing user acceptability and accessibility. It empowers local community clusters to drive the transition toward greener transportation, particularly in the light- and medium-duty vehicle segments.

Over the course of 42 months, the ePowerMove consortium will develop, test, and validate 11 innovative solutions, which will be demonstrated and assessed in three European pilot projects.
