X-FLEX 2nd GENERAL MEETING

The partners of the X-FLEX project met in Graz (Austria) at the 2nd General Meeting hosted by Joanneum Research. The main aim of the event was the Workshop Use case definition and relationship with requirements. All project leaders presented their work plan for technical Work Packages which are starting with April 2020. From the UL’s side, the MARKETFLEX tool was presented and the idea of how we are going to test it on the pilot sites Albena, Ravne na Koroškem, and Luče.
The next day we went to Slovenian village Luče which is also one of the main pilot sites in the project COMPILE. Colleagues from Petrol d.d. briefly described how the energy battery works and the experts from DSO Elektro Celje d.d. explained how the energy storage improves network stability and why the upgrade of the transformer station was needed.
