What: ACER public workshop on three electricity balancing decisions
Where: Brussels, Belgium
When: 13.11.2019
LEST team member Jan Jeriha, participated on the public workshop organised by ACER on the topic of three electricity balancing decisions. The workshop was held at the Council of European Energy Regulators (CEER) in Brussels. More than 60 participants from various utilities were present at the event.
Workshop was divided into three parts:
- Pricing methodology for balancing energy and cross-zonal capacity
- Implementation framework for establishing a European platform for the exchange of balancing energy (aFRR)
- Implementation framework for establishing a European platform for the exchange of balancing energy (mFRR)
In order to keep up to date with the recent advances on the topic of electricity balancing, LEST decided to attend the workshop organised by ACER. The work we do at the CROSSBOW project is of similar nature to the one presented on the workshop.
