On June 5, 2024, we hosted important guests: a delegation from North Macedonia responsible for the restructuring and developmental transition of coal regions in their country. Since we are involved in several projects related to effective approaches to the green transition, we were happy to share our experiences and acquired knowledge in this field.
The delegation from North Macedonia included officials from the Municipality of Bitola and representatives from various non-governmental organizations, such as Organization of Employees of Macedonia, Youth Cultural Center – Bitola, Eko-svest Macedonia, ADI – Association for Democratic Initiatives, Olof Palme’s International Centre in The Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia.
The visit was highly beneficial, as we established connections with potential partners and mutually shared knowledge and experiences from various fields. This created useful and long-lasting ties for further collaboration. For the projects carried out in our laboratory, it is especially important to disseminate the acquired knowledge and results, particularly to partners dealing with similar challenges within the EU and beyond.
