Oscar Verdejo Martos

I spent five months collaborating with the Laboratory of Energy Policy on my master’s thesis, exploring various support schemes for renewable energy. During this time, I explored various mechanisms used by European countries like Germany, France, and Spain, gaining valuable insights into their diverse approaches. It was a pleasure to spend this time with the entire team, and I am very grateful for their warm welcome and support.

As for Slovenia, my impression of the country exceeded my expectations. The abundant nature and beautiful landscapes truly stand out. Ljubljana, the capital, is charming and cozy, quite a change from the large cities I’m used to. During my stay, I also had the chance to meet people from different countries, which made the experience even more enriching.

My time in Slovenia was an incredibly rewarding experience, both professionally and personally. I left with treasured memories, lasting friendships, and a deepened appreciation for the beauty and uniqueness of this remarkable country.
