Dr. Tomaž Štokelj started working at Soške Elektrarne Nova Gorica after graduation. At the same time, he was doing his PhD thesis and some research projects at Department of Power Systems and Devices, Faculty of Electrical Engineering. After completing his PhD he was employed at Holding Slovenske elektrarne, where he was the Executive Director for trading and sales from the establishment until February 2017.  Before becoming CEO of HSE he was a Director of Strategic Portfolio Management at GEN-I d.o.o.
