Dejan Paravan, PhD

Dejan Paravan obtained his university degree at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana, in 1999 and defended his PhD in 2004. Between 1999 and 2004 he was a junior researcher at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering as well as a teaching assistant, lecturing on Energy Conversion & Power Plants and Energy Generation. As an associate member of the Laboratory for Energy Policy group, his fields of expertise were Power System Deregulation and Production Planning. During 2004 – 2006 he performed the function of Sales and Trading Manager at Istrabenz-Gorenje. Dejan Paravan is now Chief innovation officer at GEN-I d.o.o.
